<p>One of my favorite places is De Jordaan in Amsterdam, with its picturesque streets, inviting restaurants, and classic "bruine cafés," creating a welcoming ambiance. De Lindengracht Market on Saturdays is perfect for groceries, and it allows me to treat myself to a delicious lunch straight from the market stalls. Throughout the year, De Jordaan hosts various events and festivals celebrating local traditions.</p>

<p>Een van mijn lievelingsplekken is <strong>De Jordaan</strong> in Amsterdam. Met zijn schilderachtige straatjes, uitnodigende restaurants en gezellige bruine kroegjes heeft het een heel bijzondere sfeer. De Lindengrachtmarkt op zaterdag is perfect om boodschappen te doen en mezelf te trakteren op een heerlijke lunch rechtstreeks van de marktkraampjes. Door het hele jaar heen worden in De Jordaan verschillende evenementen en festivals georganiseerd om lokale tradities te vieren.</p>

Schiermonnikoog is a beautiful island off the coast of the Wadden Sea, though very close to the Dutch mainland. But this picturesque place is more than nature, as it is a cultural jewel of the Frisian heritage surviving against the odds in the Northern Netherlands.</p>

<p><span dir="ltr">My favourite city is Bruges, a very walkable town that is cute and romantic all year round. It has great food, beautiful historical buildings and a lot of hidden treasures. It truly feels like you are walking through a hallmark movie. Enjoy some Belgian waffles, locally brewed beer and chocolate while you are visiting the city. There are many ways to explore Bruges, you can do so by boat and see the city from the canals, go by horse and carriage or simply stroll through the city with a coffee in one hand and a camera in the other!</span></p>

<p>Mijn favoriete stad is Brugge, een zeer wandelbare stad die het hele jaar door schattig en romantisch is. Het heeft heerlijk eten, prachtige historische gebouwen en veel verborgen schatten. Het voelt echt alsof je door een romantische film loopt. Geniet van Belgische wafels, lokaal gebrouwen bier en chocolade terwijl je de stad verkent. Er zijn verschillende manieren om Brugge te ontdekken: per boot en de stad bekijken vanaf de grachten, met paard en wagen rondgaan, of eenvoudigweg door de stad slenteren met een koffie in de ene hand en een camera in de andere!</p>

<p>One of the cities I like is <strong>Hoorn</strong>, not far from Amsterdam and a real gem with many hidden beautiful places. In the historic center you will find many monumental buildings with their origins from the Golden Age. The Westfries museum is a great museum, telling you so much more about the ancient VOC times. From the Juliana Park you can see the most beautiful sunset in the Markermeer while enjoying a local Dutch craft beer.</p>
